bkf = toast, sesame bread, grilled butternut, boiled egg, Sato Nishiki cherry and grape vinegar drink

This is how I cooked the butternuts.  The most simple way.  I recommend you this on on the weekend breakfast or brunch.  It takes a time, but definitely worth to do.  Enjoy the butternut at the very moment taken out of the oven.  It reminds me Japanese Yaki Imo baked sweet potato.

  1. Preheat the oven 180 ℃ or 360℉.
  2. Cut off the top part the butternut, then cut into half.
  3. Scoop out seeds.
  4. Daub a little olive oil all over.
  5. Place into the oven for 50min.
  6. Serve.
  7. Enjoy.
